Songbird Frenchie Davis is a world-renowned, Grammy-nominated vocalist, theatrical performer, college professor, activist, television personality, producer, and entrepreneur.
As a singer, she is most noted for her delivery, entertainment, genius, control, range, and improvisational vocal precision.
Her theatrical credits include the Broadway cast of RENT, Dreamgirls, Cinderella Enchanted, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors, the national tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’, for which she earned a Grammy nomination; Once on This Island, and most recently, The Color Purple Musical, for which she earned a Helen Hayes Award.
Frenchie has also been in many living rooms as a top 5 finalist on NBC’s The Voice, a featured performer on Wanda Sykes’ Herlarious, and doing voice-over on the hit Nickelodeon cartoon Wonder Pets.
Frenchie is recognized as being one of the preeminent thought-leaders on Neo feminism and is an outspoken advocate for artists, the LGBTQIA+
community, and people of color.
She continually wows audiences with her talent and her impact footprint all over the globe.
She served on the national advisory council for the Human Rights Campaign’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities project; has recently completed a professorship at her alma mater, Howard University; and is currently a teaching artist at the Shakespeare Theatre Company.
Frenchie’s continual rise to massive popularity is now largely attributed to her outspoken advocacy for others; her witty outlook on life; and the comedic storytelling in her self-produced social media content.
